12-way Seat Backrest Hinge Trim

• Removal and installation is described for the left-hand side of the vehicle. Removal and installation for the right-hand side is performed in the same manner.

Removing

- Remove belt anchor. Refer to => [ Belt Anchor ] Belt Anchor.

- Remove 12-way seat. Refer to => [ 12-way Seat ] 12-way Seat.

- Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

- Secure 12-way seat on fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

- Disconnect backrest cover retaining straps - 1 - from underside of seat base.

- Press the 2 pins - 2 - inward and separate left trim from seat.

- Right trim is removed in same manner.





Installation

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
