Securing to Engine and Transmission Holder

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Engine and Transmission Holder (VAS 6095)

Lifting Tackle (3033)

Shop Crane (6100)

Procedure

- Remove the transmission.

Separate the engine from the transmission. Refer to the operating instructions for the scissor lift table (6131),

- After separating the engine from the transmission, secure the torque converter to prevent it from falling out.

- Install the (3033) as follows and lift the engine from the (VAS 6095) using the (6100).





Vibration damper side: position 3.

Flywheel side: Position 11

Threaded spindles are set in length according to necessity.

- Secure the engine to (VAS 6095) as shown.





If the engine support (3269) is used:

- Install the (3269) to the cylinder block as shown.
