Entry Assistance Release Cable A

Removing

- Remove the front seat. Refer to => [ Front Seat ] Front Seat

- Remove the trim on the tunnel side. Refer to => [ Tunnel Side Trim ] Tunnel Side Trim.

- Move the backrest forward as far as the stop using the handwheel.

- Disengage the entry assistance cable A bracket - 1 - from the seat forward/back adjustment - 2 -.






- Disengage the entry assistance release cable A - 1 - at the seat forward/back adjuster - 2 - and remove it.






- Remove the entry assistance release cable A - 1 - from the backrest hinges.






- Remove the guides for the entry assistance release cable A - 2 - from the lower seat frame.

Installation

Make sure the backrest is in the basic position, i.e. it must be moved forward as far as the stop using the handwheel.

- Attach the entry assistance cable A - 1 - first to the seat forward/back adjustment - 2 -.






- Engage the entry assistance cable A bracket - 1 - on the seat forward/back adjustment - 2 -.






- Connect the entry assistance release cable A - 1 - to the backrest hinge.






- Position the entry assistance release cable A guides - 2 - on the lower seat frame.

- Entry assistance release cable A, adjusting. Refer to => [ Entry Assistance Release Cable A, Checking and Adjusting ] Entry Assistance Release Cable A, Checking and Adjusting.

- Lock the entry assistance release cable A - 1 - with the clip - 2 -.






Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

When installing, make sure that the release cables - 1 - and - 2 - are routed as shown. Never cross the release cables!
