Mounting Bracket

Removing

- Remove the instrument panel trim panel in the footwell on the driver side.

- If present, remove the crash bolsters.

- If present, remove the knee airbag.

- Disconnect brake pedal from brake booster. Refer to => [ Brake Pedal and Brake Booster, Separating and Connecting ] Brake Pedal and Brake Booster, Separating and Connecting.

- Remove the threaded connection - 1 - between the brake booster and the bracket.






- Remove the threaded connection - 2 - between the bulkhead and the bracket.

- Remove the bracket and pedal assembly.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Follow the Tightening Sequence






- Tighten bolts - 1 - through - 6 - in the same sequence as illustrated.

- Clip the brake pedal to the brake booster. Refer to => [ Brake Pedal and Brake Booster, Separating and Connecting ] Brake Pedal and Brake Booster, Separating and Connecting.
