Vanity Mirror Illumination

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

The front passenger vanity mirror lamp (W14) / driver vanity mirror lamp (W20) are removed and installed the same way so the procedure is only described for one of them.

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

• When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool ( (VAS 3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

- Carefully pry the front passenger vanity mirror lamp from the roof trim panel using the (VAS 3409).






- Disconnect the connector - arrow -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
