Glass Panel Height Adjustment






Trim for Left and Right Glass Panel is not Removed Yet

- Open the sun shade all the way.

- Open the glass panel for the panorama sliding/tilting sunroof to 40 mm.

- Unclip the left and right trim - 1 - from the glass panel - 2 -.

All Vehicles:

- If necessary, loosen the glass panel bolts (3 pieces on each side).

- Replace the glass panel bolts if it has not already been done.

- Drive the glass panel for the panorama sliding/tilting sunroof into (open) position.

- Drive the glass panel for the panorama sliding/tilting sunroof into (closed) position.

- To prevent wind noise, adjust front and rear height of glass panel.

• To achieve the best possible exterior optical characteristics, make sure that the adjustment on left and right sides is performed as evenly (symmetrically) as possible.

• Glass panel must not be higher than trim at any point at front or lower than the trim - 2 - at any point at rear.






- Adjust the front glass panel - 1 - to the dimension - a -.

- a - = 0.2 to 3.2 mm lower than the trim - 2 -

- Tighten the front left and right bolts for the glass panel.

Tightening specification: 6 Nm

- Adjust the rear glass panel - 1 - to the dimension - b -.

- b - = 0 to 2.5 mm higher than the trim - 2 -

- Tighten the rear left and right bolts for the glass panel.

- Tighten the center left and right bolts for the glass panel.

Tightening specification: 6 Nm

- Open the glass panel for the panorama sliding/tilting sunroof to 40 mm.






- Install the left and right trim - 1 - in the glass panel - 2 -.
