Entry Assistance Release Cable A, Checking and Adjusting

The following conditions must be met to adjust the release cable:

The upholstery must be removed from the seat and backrest and they must be bolted to each other.

The entry assistance release cable B must be engaged at the backrest and on the lower seat frame.

In order to adjust the release cable correctly, move the backrest all the way to the front position using the hand wheel.

The adjustment is only performed on the inside of the vehicle on the tunnel side of the seat.

Checking and Correcting

- Determine the distance between the retaining straps with a feeler gauge - 1 -, - 2 -, - 3 - and - 4 - and the circuit board - 5 -.






The adjustment is done correctly if each of the dimensions are between 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm.

If the test is not successful:

- Adjustment is done using knurled nuts.

A locked release cable cannot be readjusted and must be replaced.
