Entry Assistance Release Cable A, Checking and Adjusting
The following conditions must be met to adjust the release cable:
• The upholstery must be removed from the seat and backrest and they must be bolted to each other.
• The entry assistance release cable B must be engaged at the backrest and on the lower seat frame.
• In order to adjust the release cable correctly, move the backrest all the way to the front position using the hand wheel.
• The adjustment is only performed on the inside of the vehicle on the tunnel side of the seat.
Checking and Correcting
- Determine the distance between the retaining straps with a feeler gauge - 1 -, - 2 -, - 3 - and - 4 - and the circuit board - 5 -.
The adjustment is done correctly if each of the dimensions are between 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm.
If the test is not successful:
- Adjustment is done using knurled nuts.
• A locked release cable cannot be readjusted and must be replaced.
