Condensation Water Hose and Vents







Condensation Water Hose and Vents

Turn off all electric consumers.

Switch off the ignition.

Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove right footwell (in the middle console). Refer to Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim.

- Loosen the carpet in the right footwell and remove it until the condensation water hose - 1 - can be seen.

- Remove the condensation water hose - 1 - from the connection piece - 3 -.

- Unclip the condensation water hose - 1 - and the valve from the body - 2 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. When doing this, note the following:

The condensation water hose must be free of tension when it is connected to the heater and A/C unit.

The condensation water hose must be secured on the heater and A/C unit.

The condensation water hose must not under any circumstances be bent or kinked.

- Install right footwell (in the middle console). Refer to Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim.

Checking

The valve is located in the front right driver side compartment behind the underbody trim panel.

- Loosen the underbody trim panel - 1 and 2 - in the valve area.






- Check valve - arrow -:

It should not be plugged with wax, underbody sealant, or debris.

It must open and close properly.

- Secure the underbody trim panel.
