Condensation Water Hose and Vents

• Turn off all electric consumers.

• Switch off the ignition.

• Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove right footwell (in the middle console). Refer to Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim.

- Loosen the carpet in the right footwell and remove it until the condensation water hose - 1 - can be seen.

- Remove the condensation water hose - 1 - from the connection piece - 3 -.

- Unclip the condensation water hose - 1 - and the valve from the body - 2 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. When doing this, note the following:

• The condensation water hose must be free of tension when it is connected to the heater and A/C unit.

• The condensation water hose must be secured on the heater and A/C unit.

• The condensation water hose must not under any circumstances be bent or kinked.

- Install right footwell (in the middle console). Refer to Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim.

Checking

• The valve is located in the front right driver side compartment behind the underbody trim panel.

- Loosen the underbody trim panel - 1 and 2 - in the valve area.






- Check valve - arrow -:

• It should not be plugged with wax, underbody sealant, or debris.

• It must open and close properly.

- Secure the underbody trim panel.
