Horns (H2)/(H7)

The High Tone Horn (H2) / Low Tone Horn (H7) are activated by the vehicle electrical system control module (J519).

The low tone horn is to the right under the longitudinal member and the high tone horn is installed on the left.

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

Remove the low tone horn

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Disconnect the connector - 3 -.






- Remove the nut - 1 - and remove the low tone horn - 2 -.

Remove the high tone horn

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Disconnect the connector - 3 -.






- Remove the nut - 1 - and remove the high tone horn - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

When installing, position the horns so that they are not touching any surrounding components.

- Tighten the threaded connections to the tightening specification. Refer to => [ Horn Overview ] Horn Overview.

Check horns with the Vehicle diagnostic tester.
