In order to prevent damage to the battery or vehicle, observe battery type descriptions and notes => [ AGM Battery ] AGM Battery.

Perform the tests in the following sequence:

- Visual check. Refer to => [ Inspecting ] Inspecting.

- Battery load test with:

• Battery tester with printer (VAS 6161)=> [ Battery Tester VAS 6161 ] Battery Tester VAS 6161.

• Midtronics (MCR340V) battery tester, refer to => [ Midtronics Battery Tester ] Midtronics Battery Tester.

- Depending on the result of the battery load test, perform current draw test, refer to=> [ Current Draw Test ] Current Draw Test.
