Harsh Shifting Concerns in Low Gear

Technical Background

Customer states the transmission has harsh shifting in low gears. This may be due to an improperly installed solenoid within the transmission valve body.

Production Solution

Solenoid installation verified before valve body installation into the transmission

Service

^ Ensure there are no fault codes stored in the ECM and TCM, if so, address those codes first.








^ Replace the valve body on vehicles listed in the VIN list.
