Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench 5 to 50 Nm (V.A.G 1331)

Removing

- Remove the bolts - 2 -.






- Remove the striker pin - 1 -from the B-pillar.

Removing

- Attach the striker pin - 1 - with bolts - 2 -.

- Adjust the catch - 1 -, refer to => [ Striker Pin, Adjusting ] Striker Pin, Adjusting

- Tighten the bolts - 2 -: tightening specification: 20 Nm.
