Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench 5 to 50 Nm (V.A.G 1331)

• If the rear lid does not open, use the emergency release inside the rear lid trim and open it manually. Refer to the => Owner's Manual.






Removing

- Remove the lock carrier cover..

- Remove the bolts- 1 - and the striker pin - 2 -.

Installation

- Attach the catch - 2 -.

- Tightening specifications for bolts - 1 -: 18 Nm.
