Vanity Mirror Lamp

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

The bulbs for the Front passenger vanity mirror lamp (W14) and Driver vanity mirror lamp (W20) are installed behind the sun visors in the roof trim.

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trims, etc.), use commercially available adhesive tape to mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( (VAS 3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned.

• Removal and installation for both lights is performed in the same way and is only described for one light.

Removal

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Use the (VAS 3409) or a screwdriver to carefully pry the lamp out of the cover.






- Release and disconnect the harness connector - arrow -.






- Remove the lamp.

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
