Horn: Service and Repair

High and Low Tone Horns (H2)/(H7)

Removal

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

Only right signal horn

- Remove the front bumper cover.

Only left signal horn

- Remove the front part of the left front wheel housing liner.

Continuation for both signal horns

- Release and disconnect the harness connector - 1 -.






- Unscrew the mounting nuts - arrows - and remove the signal horn together with the bracket.

Installation

- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tighten the mounting nuts - arrows - to 5 Nm during installation.






- Connect the harness connector and engage it audibly.
