Light Recognition Sensor (G399)

The light recognition sensor for the high beam assist is installed in the mirror base for the interior rearview mirror and cannot be replaced separately. If a failure occurs, the entire interior rearview mirror must be replaced.

- Interior Rearview Mirror, removing and installing.

- Code the automatic high beam control module (J844) in the interior rearview mirror after installing the new high beam assist sensor. Refer to => [ Automatic High Beam Control Module (J844), Coding ] Automatic High Beam Control Module (J844), Coding.

• It is not necessary to calibrate the new automatic high beam control sensor. The system automatically calibrates the control module.
