Ignition/Starter Switch, Without KESSY

Removal

- Remove the steering column trim.

- Release the harness connector and remove from the ignition/starter switch - 1 -.






- Release the ignition/starter switch using 2 small screwdrivers at the latching mechanisms - arrows -.

- Remove the ignition/starter switch - 1 - from the steering lock housing.

Installation

- Install the ignition/starter switch in the steering lock housing until it engages audibly.

- Insert the ignition key into the lock cylinder and turn to the "Drive" - 2 - position.






• Key must be located in "Drive" position.

Key positions of lock cylinder:

1 Position "Off"
2 Position "Run"
3 Position "Start"

- Reinstall all components accordingly in the reverse order.
