Removing

- Slide the cap - 1 - outward out of the mounts.






- Remove the screw - 1 - (1.9 to 2.4 Nm) and remove the spring - 2 -.






The locking pin is under spring tension.

- Remove the locking pin - 1 -.






• In vehicles built with the newer design, the pins are partially surrounded by two plastic shells.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

• When installing the bolt, it should be mounted so that the bolt head is in the pin recess.

• The bolt should be installed with the pin inserted.
