Removing






- Remove the radiator grille; from 01.11, refer to => [ Radiator Grille from 01.11 ] Service and Repair

- Release, disconnecting, refer to => [ Release Coupling ] Release Coupling

- Disconnect harness connector - 5 - for Front Hood Switch.

Harness connector is secured over right headlamp.

- Remove bolts - 4 - (quantity: 3) on lock carrier - 3 - and remove hood lock - 1 - upward.

- To unclip release - 2 -, press tabs - arrow - on cable together.

- The locking mechanism is released and release - 2 - can be removed from hood lock - 1 -.

Installation






- Clip release - 2 - into hood lock - 1 -.

- Install lid lock - 1 - in lock carrier - 3 -.

- Screw tightening specification - 4 -: 12 Nm

- Connect harness connector - 5 - for front hood switch.

- Install release - 2 -. Refer to => [ Release Coupling ] Release Coupling.

- Adjust hood lock.

• Before closing the hood, test the release lever and the release.
