Roof Center Section Seal, Installing






Apply additional sealant on all 4 corners of the roof - A, B, C and D -.

- Use a butyl cord (D 450 273 A2).

- With seal removed - 1 -, clean seal contact surfaces on roof center section - 2 -.

- Press the butyl sealing cord - 3 - on and carefully and evenly coat corners with it.






• The additional sealing measures are performed.

- Press seal - 1 - onto front and rear sheet metal flange.

- Press seal into side mounts on roof center section - 2 -.

Coat the seal with soapy water to install it more easily. Do not apply soapy water to areas bonded with a butyl sealing cord.
