Interior Lamp

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409) or

• Wedge (T10039/1)

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trims, etc.), use commercially available adhesive tape to mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( (VAS 3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned.

Removal

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Use the (T10039/1) or (VAS 3409) or a screwdriver to carefully pry the trim out of the interior lamp starting at the back.






- Release the retaining tabs - arrows - and fold the interior lamp down.






- Pull the interior lamp out of the roof cross member trim - arrow A - and release and disconnect all equipment-dependent harness connectors- arrows -.






Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
