Exterior Mirror Turn Signal Lamps (L131)/(L132)

The driver exterior rearview mirror turn signal bulb or front passenger exterior rearview mirror turn signal bulb is installed in the left/right exterior rearview mirror housing.

• The exterior rearview mirror turn signal bulb is equipped with LED lights that cannot be replaced separately.

• In the event of damage, the entire exterior rearview mirror turn signal bulb must be replaced.

• The LEDs are connected individually. According to ECE regulation, 1 diode may fail, but the exterior rearview mirror turn signal bulb must be replaced if the 2nd diode fails!

• The function of the exterior rearview mirror turn signal bulb can be checked via the output diagnostic test mode of the particular door control module.

Removal

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

• During removal and installation, leave the ignition key in the passenger compartment of the vehicle to prevent locking of the doors and automatic activation of the "Coming Home/Leaving Home" functions if applicable.

- Install and remove the exterior rearview mirror turn signal bulb.
