Engine Hood Contact Switch (F266)

The engine hood contact switch is installed in the lid lock of the hood.

Removal

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Remove the lid lock.

• Bowden cable may remain connected to the lid lock.

- Release the retaining tab - 1 - and push the engine hood contact switch in the - direction of the arrow -.






- Remove the contact switch from the lid lock.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal.
