Outer Headlamp Mounting Tab, Repairing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque screwdriver (V.A.G 1624)

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Remove headlamp. Refer to => [ Halogen Headlamps ] Halogen Headlamps.

- Remove the rest of the old headlamp mounting tab - 1 - as illustrated.






- Position the new headlamp mounting tab - 1 - on the socket on the headlamp and tighten the screws - 2 - to 1.0 Nm.






- Install headlamp. Refer to => [ Halogen Headlamps ] Halogen Headlamps.

- Check the headlamp adjustment and adjust it if necessary.
