Front Bucket Seat Cushion Cover and Cushion

• Removal and installation of the components are described for the left seat. The same procedure applies for the removal and installation of the components of the right seat.

Removing

- Mount the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136) on the engine and transmission holder (VAS 6095).

- Remove the front seat. Refer to => [ Front Seat ] Front Seat.

- Attach the seat to the fixture for seat repair (VAS 6136).

- Remove front left bucket seat trim. Refer to => [ Left Bucket Seat Trim ] Left Bucket Seat Trim

- Remove the front seat belt latch:

• 2-door: => [ Belt Latch, 2-door ] Belt Latch, 2-Door

• 4-door: => [ Belt Latch, 4-door ] Belt Latch, 4-Door

- Remove front right bucket seat trim. Refer to => [ Right Bucket Seat Trim ] Right Bucket Seat Trim

- Remove front bucket seat backrest. Refer to => [ Front bucket seat backrest, removing and installing ] Front bucket seat backrest, removing and installing

- Loosen profile - 1 - from mount - 2 - in rear area of seat base.






• From VIN 2615638 (June 2006), seat cover is secured to seat with 11 additional clips (N.107.297.01) - arrows -.

• 4 clips each on the right and left and 3 clips on the front side.

• Remove clips carefully from surrounding channel with a suitable tool.






- Loosen Velcro strip on both sides - 1 -.






- Loosen surrounding profile - 2 - on seat pan - 3 -.

- Loosen all Velcro strips - 1 - on cover from depression in upholstery - 2 -.






- Remove upholstery from bucket seat.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.
