Interior Monitoring Deactivation Switch (E267) and Vehicle Inclination Sensor Deactivation Button (E360)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

The interior monitoring deactivation switch and the vehicle inclination sensor deactivate button are a single component.

To remove the interior monitoring deactivation switch and vehicle inclination sensor deactivate button, anti-theft warning system must be deactivated. Refer to => [ Anti-Theft Alarm System, Activating and Deactivating ] Anti-Theft Alarm System, Activating and Deactivating.

When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( (VAS 3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Interior Monitoring Deactivation Switch and vehicle inclination sensor deactivate button are located in B-pillar trim on drivers side.

Removal

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Carefully pry out interior monitoring deactivation switch and the vehicle inclination sensor deactivate button - 1 - using a (VAS 3409) or a screwdriver.






- Release and disconnect the connector - arrow -.






Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
