Trunk Light Bulb: Service and Repair

Luggage Compartment Lamp (W3) Bulb

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (VAS 3409)

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool ( (VAS 3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removal

- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

- Remove the luggage compartment lamp. Refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Lamp (W3) ] Service and Repair.

- Push contact plate - 1 - of lamp outward and remove the tubular bulb - 2 - from the socket.






- Tubular bulb: 12V, 10W

Installation

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
