Cooling System Component Overview, Body Side






1 Radiator

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Radiator ] Service and Repair.

• Replace all of the coolant after replacing. Refer to => [ Draining and Filling ] Draining and Filling.

2 O-ring

• Replace if damaged.

3 Upper Coolant Hose

• With a quick coupling.

• Check the hose for secure seating.

• Coolant hose connection diagram. Refer to => [ Coolant Hose Connection Diagram ] [1][2]Cooling System.

4 Cap

• Check the pressure valve in the cap. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Checking for Leaks ] Testing and Inspection.

5 Connector

6 Stud Bolt

• 3 Nm

7 Coolant Expansion Tank

• Cooling system, checking for leaks. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Checking for Leaks ] Testing and Inspection.

8 Lower Coolant Hose

• With a quick coupling.

• Check the hose for secure seating.

• Coolant hose connection diagram. Refer to => [ Coolant Hose Connection Diagram ] [1][2]Cooling System.

9 Nut

• 5 Nm

10 Bolt

• 5 Nm

11 Coolant Fan 2 (V177)

12 Coolant Fan (V7)

13 Connector

14 Fan Shroud

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fan Shroud and Fans ] Service and Repair.
