Glove Compartment

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Remove the side instrument panel cover. Refer to => [ Side Instrument Panel Covers ] Side Instrument Panel Covers.

- Remove the screws - 3 - (1.5 Nm).

- Open the glove compartment door - 2 - and remove the bolts - 4 - (1.5 Nm).

- Close the glove compartment door - 2 - and remove the complete glove compartment from the instrument panel - 1 -.

- Disconnect the wiring harness from the glove compartment lamp (W6).

- Disconnect the wiring harness from the glove compartment lamp switch (E26).

- If the vehicle has a front passenger airbag OFF key switch (E224) , disconnect the wiring harness.

- If the vehicle has glove compartment cooling, remove the channel from the glove compartment.

- If the vehicle has footwell lamps, disconnect the wiring harness from the right front footwell illumination bulb (L152).

- Remove the glove compartment - 2 - from the instrument panel - 1 -.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.
