Accessory Bracket Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification






- Position the accessory bracket and then install the bolt - 4 -. Tighten the bolts in 3 passes in sequence - 1 through 5 -:

- First pass, tighten the bolts by hand.

- Second pass, tighten the bolts to 20 Nm.

- Final pass, tighten the bolts an additional 90° (1/4) additional turn.

Transmission Side Sealing Flange Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification






- Tighten the bolts in 2 passes in sequence - 1 through 8 -:

- First pass, tighten the bolts by hand.

- Final pass, tighten the bolts to 9 Nm.

Crankshaft Bearing Cap Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification






- Tighten the crankshaft bearing cap bolts in sequence - 1 through 10 -:

- Tighten the bolts - 1 through 10 - and the - arrows - by hand.

- Tighten the bolts - 1 through 10 - to 65 Nm.

- Tighten the bolts - 1 through 10 - an additional 90° (1/4) turn using a ratchet.

- Tighten the bolts - arrows - to 20 Nm.

- Tighten the bolts - arrows - an additional 90° (1/4) turn using a ratchet.
