Fastener Tightening Specifications

Jetta from MY 05 through 10, Jetta SportWagen (US)/Jetta Wagon (Canada) for MY 09, Jetta SportWagen (US)/Golf Wagon (Canada) from MY 10

• 1 Always replace

Transmission to Engine Tightening Specifications

- A and B -: Alignment sleeves

Transmission Mount Bracket to Transmission Bolts

- Replace the bolts.

Tighten the transmission mount bracket to transmission bolts - arrows - to 60 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn

Transmission Mount to Transmission Mount Bracket Bolts

- Replace the bolts.

Tighten the transmission mount to transmission mount bracket bolts - arrows - to 60 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.

• Install the transmission mount free of tension.

Transmission to Engine Tightening Specifications

- A and B -: Alignment sleeves

Transmission Mount Bracket to Transmission Bolts

- Replace the bolts.

Tighten the transmission mount bracket - 1 - to transmission bolts - arrows - to 60 Nm + and additional 90° (1/4) turn.

Transmission Mount to Transmission Mount Bracket Bolts

- Replace the bolts.

Tighten the transmission mount - 2 - to transmission mount bracket bolts - arrows - to 60 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.

• Install the transmission mount free of tension.

Transmission to Engine Tightening Specifications

- A and B -: Alignment sleeves

Transmission Mount Bracket to Transmission Bolts

- Replace the bolts.

Tighten the transmission mount bracket - 1 - to transmission bolts - arrows - to 60 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn
