Rear Lid Latch

Removing

• If the rear lid does not open, use the emergency release - 4 - inside the rear lid trim panel to open it manually. Refer to the Owner's Manual.






- Remove the trim panel from the rear lid.

- Disconnect the connector - 3 - from the rear lid lock - 1 -.

- Remove the nuts - 2 - and the rear lid latch - 1 -.

Installing

- Install the rear lid latch - 1 - and tighten the nuts - 2 -.






Nut - 2 - tightening specification: 23 Nm

- Connect the connector - 3 - to the rear lid latch - 1 -.

- Install the rear lid trim panel.

• Perform a function test on the unlocking components before closing the rear lid.
