Roof Antenna

Removing


• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

- Lower the back of the headliner.

Depending on the equipment level, the roof antenna can have 1 to 3 wires. These are mounted to the roof cross-member - 1 - through - 4 -.






- Unlock and disconnect the connectors - 2 through 4 - and free up the antenna wires up to the roof antenna - 5 -.

- Remove the nut - 1 - and remove the roof antenna - 5 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- When inserting roof antenna, ensure that the seal is properly seated. Both guide protrusions of gasket must be seated in the appropriate holes - arrows - in antenna base.






- Make sure the antenna wires - 1 - are routed correctly through the opening in the nut - 2 - after mounting the roof antenna.






- Tighten the threaded connections to the tightening specification. Refer to => [ Antenna System Overview ] Antenna System Overview.
