Cylinder head

• If a replacement cylinder head with assembled camshaft: Before assembling, grease the contact surfaces between the valve lifters and the cam lubricating surface on the cylinder head cover.

• The plastic protectors installed to protect the open valves must only be removed immediately before mounting the cylinder head.

• Replace all the engine coolant if the cylinder head is replaced.
