Clutch Release Mechanism Overview





1 Release Bearing

• Remove and install together with the clutch release lever - item 3 - and guide sleeve - item 5 -.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch Release Lever with Release Bearing and Guide Sleeve ] Service and Repair.

• Do not wash the bearing, just wipe it off.

• Replace loud bearings

2 Bolt

• 5 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

• Always replace

3 Clutch Release Lever

• Remove and install together with the release bearing - item 1 - and guide sleeve - item 5 -.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch Release Lever with Release Bearing and Guide Sleeve ] Service and Repair.

• Remove any grease already present.

4 Spring

• Attach to the clutch release lever.

5 Guide Sleeve

• Remove and install together with the release bearing - item 1 - and clutch release lever - item 3 -.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Clutch Release Lever with Release Bearing and Guide Sleeve ] Service and Repair.

6 Input Shaft Seal

• Pry out with a screwdriver.

• Installing, refer to => [ Installing the Input
Shaft Seal ] Transmission Housing and Clutch Housing.

7 Ball Stud

• 20 Nm

• Remove any grease already present.

• Lubricate using grease for clutch plate splines (G 000 100).

8 Transmission

9 Bolt

• 20 Nm

10 Bracket

• For the hose/line assembly.

11 Clutch Slave Cylinder

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Slave Cylinder ] Service and Repair.
