Backrest Cover and Cushion, 1/3 Seat

Removing

Perform the following:

- Remove the rear bench seat. Refer to => [ Bench Seat ] Bench Seat.

- Remove the backrest. Refer to => [ Backrest ] Backrest.

- Push cushion on headrest guide - arrow -.






- Push the headrest guide - arrow - all the way using (3409).

- Push the button - 2 - and pull the headrest - 1 - out of the backrest.

- Pry the profile - arrows - out of the mounts in the backrest frame - 2 - with a screwdriver.

- Fold up the cover - 7 - on the sides.

The illustration shows attaching the cover - 7 - on the Comfort version. Installing the seat covers on a Basis or Sport version is identical.

- Loosen the clamping strips - 4 - from the clips - 5 -. Push the side braces on the mounts - 5 - away from each other with a small screwdriver and remove the clamping strips - 4 -.

- Remove all the upholstery clips - 6 -.

- Remove cover - 7 - from upholstery - 3 -.

- Remove the cushion - 3 - from the backrest frame - 1 -.

Guide the cover - 7 - and the cushion - 3 - over the headrest guides.






Installation

The illustration shows attaching the cover - 1 - on the Comfort version. Installing the seat covers on a Basis or Sport version is identical.

- Install the cushion on the backrest frame.

- Install the cover - 1 - on the cushion - 4 -.

- Install the clamping strips - 2 - for the cover - 1 - using the clips - 3 - at the shown locations - 5 -.

- Attach the cover - 1 - to the cushion - 4 - with new upholstery clips - 6 - at the shown locations - 7 - using the (V.A.G 1634).

- Fold up the cover - 1 - on the sides and attach the clamping strips to the backrest frame.
