Cover and Upholstery for Seat Bench

Removing

- Remove the rear bench seat. Refer to => [ Bench Seat ] Bench Seat.

- Disconnect all the upholstery clips - arrow - on the bottom of the bench seat all the way around.

- Fold the cover up all the way around.






• The illustration shows attaching the cover - 6 - on the Comfort version. Installing the seat covers on a Basis or Sport version is identical.

- Fold up the cover on the sides.

- Loosen the clamping strips - 1 - from the clips - 2 -. Push the side braces on the mounts - 2 - away from each other with a small screwdriver and remove the clamping strips - 1 -.

- Remove all the upholstery clips - 5 -.

- Remove cover - 6 - from upholstery - 3 -.

- Remove the cushion - 3 - from the seat frame - 4 -.






Installation

• The illustration shows attaching the cover - 1 - on the Comfort version. Installing the seat covers on a Basis or Sport version is identical.

- Install the cushion - 6 - on the seat frame.

- Install the cover - 1 - on the cushion - 6 -.

- Install the clamping strips - 5 - for the cover - 1 - using the clips - 4 - at the shown locations - 7 -.

- Attach the cover - 1 - to the cushion - 6 - with new upholstery clips - 2 - at the shown locations - 3 - using the (V.A.G 1634).

- Fold up the cover - 1 - on the sides.






- Attach the cover all the way around the seat frame with new upholstery clips - arrows - with (V.A.G 1634).
