Removing

- Remove the rear bench seat. Refer to => [ Bench Seat ] Bench Seat.

- Fold back the carpet around the backrest center bracket.

- Remove the trim - 2 - from the backrest center bracket - 1 -.

- Remove the bolt - 3 - (9 Nm) and the clamp - 4 -.






- From inside the luggage compartment 2 /3 - 1 -, unlock the backrest and fold it down.

- From inside the luggage compartment 1 /3 - 2 -, unlock the backrest and fold it down.

- Lift the backrest 1 /3 - 2 - out of the backrest center bracket - 3 - and remove the backrest from the pin - 5 - with the guide sleeve - 4 -.

- Remove the backrest 1 /3 - 2 - from the vehicle.

- Lift the backrest 2 /3 - 1 - out of the backrest center bracket - 3 - and remove the backrest from the pin - 5 - with the guide sleeve - 4 -.

- Remove the backrest 2 /3 - 1 - from the vehicle.






Installation

• Make sure the guide sleeve - 4 - is in both backrest frames - 1 - and - 2 - before installing the pin - 5 -.






- Install in reverse order of removal.
