Operating without Electricity

Glass Panel

• If there is a malfunction in the electrical system, the front sunroof glass panel can be moved manually using a commercially available hex wrench.

• Manually move the front glass sunroof panel far enough until its front corner is flush with the front corner of the rear glass sunroof panel. If the glass sunroof panel is moved still further to the rear, the mechanism cables can disengage.

- Remove front light and control unit.


A flat cable is bonded to the brace in the lamp opening in some versions. The flat cable must be loosened from the brace and pressed to the side for emergency operation. Make sure the flat cable is not damaged.






- Loosen the flat cable - 5 -, if applicable, on the brace - 1 -.

- Move the flat cable far enough to the side - arrow - until it comes through the hole in the brace - 1 - using a commercially available hex wrench - 4 -.

- Guide the hex wrench - 4 - through the hole in the brace - 1 - and into the screw - 3 - in the sunroof motor - 2 -.

If turning by hand, more force will be needed since the motor is not disengaged from the drive.

Sun Shade

• If there is a malfunction in the electrical system, the sun shade on the sun shade motor can be moved manually using a commercially available hex wrench.

- Remove the headlines.

- Place the hex wrench - 2 - into the sun shade motor screw - 1 -.






If turning by hand, more force will be needed since the motor is not disengaged from the drive.
