Turn Signals: Service and Repair

Side Turn Signals

• Removing and installing is described only for the left side turn signals. Removing and installing right side turn signals is derived accordingly from this.

• LEDs with a long service life are installed in the side turn signals instead of standard bulbs.

• Because of that, it is not necessary to replace bulbs. If there is damage, the entire turn signal assembly must be replaced.

Removing

- Remove mirror glass. Refer to => [ Mirror Glass ] Mirror Glass.

- Remove mirror housing. Refer to => [ Mirror Housing ] Mirror Housing.

- Remove trim. Refer to => [ Trim ] Trim.






- Remove screws - 4 - and remove assembly piece - B - downward.

- Disconnect harness connector - 5 - from turn signal - 3 -.

- Remove screws - 2 - and remove turn signal - 3 - from assembly piece - 1 -.

Installation

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

Then perform a function test.
