• Box wrench (3320/3)
• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1331)
• Adjustment gauge (3371)
• The vehicle must be standing on its wheels in order to adjust the rear door.
• The rear door is adjusted properly when it has an even gap dimension overall when closed, it does not rest too far in or out and the contours align.
• Apply corrosion protection to the hinges and bolts after assembling or adjusting.
Adjusting Gap Dimensions
For correct gap dimension adjustment, the bolts - 3 - and - 4 - on the B-pillar must be loosened.
- It is necessary to remove the B-pillar lower trim in order to access the bolts - 4 -.
Flush Adjustment
The bolts - 2 - must be loosened in order to adjust the flush dimensions correctly.
For this, the door adjusting wrench (3320) with the bit insert must be used.
• Other measures, such as aligning the rear doors upward, do not work. Excess pressure thereafter will again cause the rear door to sag.
