Adjusting Buffer Peel-Off Foil Assembly Overview

Installation instructions:

• It is not possible to remove the foil without damaging it.

• Warm the foil with a hot air blower (V.A.G 1416).

• Use adhesive remover (D 002 000 10) only.

• Make sure the adhesive surfaces are free of dust and grease.

• Apply the foil immediately after cleaning.

• Only remove the protective film right before assembly.

• The temperature must be approximately 72 °F (21 °C).

- Apply the anti-friction film for the outer adjusting buffers on the lock carrier.
