1 Rubber Protector

2 Engine Preheating Element (Z97)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Engine Preheating Element Z97 ] Engine Preheating Element Z97.

• Coolant hose connection diagram. Refer to one of the following:

With a Manual Transmission, refer to => [ Coolant Hose Connection Diagram ] [1][2]Cooling System.

With a Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG(R)), refer to => [ Coolant Hose Connection Diagram ] [1][2]Cooling System.

• Pay attention to the installed position of the engine preheating element in the bracket. Refer to => [ Installed position for the engine preheating element ] Engine Preheating Element Z97.

• Component location, refer to => [ Coolant Pipes Overview ] Coolant Pipes Overview.

3 Clip

4 Bolt

• 8 Nm

5 Bracket

• Pay attention to the installed position of the engine preheating element in the bracket. Refer to => [ Installed position for the engine preheating element ] Engine Preheating Element Z97.

6 Connecting Cable

• 220 V

7 Bracket

• Upper part

• To the wiring harness retainer in the air grille.

8 Bracket

• Lower part

• To the wiring harness retainer in the air grille
