Turbocharger and Attachments Overview
• Various hose connections are secured.
• Charge air system must be properly sealed.
• Replace the self-locking nuts.
• Before installing the oil supply line, fill the turbocharger with engine oil at the supply line connection.
• After installing the turbocharger, allow the engine to idle for approximately 1 minute to ensure adequate oil supply to the turbocharger.

• Replace if damaged.

• 15 Nm

5 Heat Shield
6 Gasket
• Always replace.
• Pay attention to the installed position.
7 Turbocharger
• One unit with the exhaust manifold.
• Can only be replaced together with the exhaust manifold and vacuum diaphragm.
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Turbocharger ] Turbocharger.
• Replacing the vacuum diaphragm with the charge pressure actuator position sensor. Refer to => [ Vacuum Diaphragm with Charge Pressure Actuator Position Sensor G581 ] Vacuum Diaphragm with Charge Pressure Actuator Position Sensor G581.

• 24 Nm
• Always replace.

9 Bolt
• 10 Nm
10 Support
• For the turbocharger.
11 Banjo Bolt
• Always replace.
• 60 Nm
12 O-ring
• Always replace.
• Varying diameters.
13 Bolt
• 15 Nm
• Always replace.
14 Gasket
• Always replace.
15 Oil Return Line
16 O-ring
• Always replace.
17 Bolt
• 20 Nm
18 Banjo Bolt
• 30 Nm
19 Seal
• Always replace.
• Quantity: 2
20 Oil Supply Line
• Tighten the union nuts to 22 Nm.
• Check for clearance.
• Before installing, fill the turbocharger with engine oil at the oil supply line connection.

22 Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Pipe

• Always replace.
25 Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 (G235)
