The cell phone preparation "UHV High voice control system" is offered only together with a radio/RNS (RX1).

If the vehicle has cellular telephone preparation, then the operating electronics and telephone control module (J412) is already installed at the factory.

The cell phone preparation "UHV High voice control system" is known as "Universal Cell Phone Preparation High" with Bluetooth Technology and Voice Control System.

The "UHV High voice control system" uses 2 Bluetooth profiles:

• HFP is short for Hands Free Profile and is one profile for the telephone audio/speaking channel. Pure speaking data is transmitted here.

• Music file in the registered Bluetooth device are sent in stereo quality to the cell phone operating electronics control module (J412) with Bluetooth profile "ASDP audio streaming." A larger quantity of data files can be transmitted as pure language files.

Troubleshooting

The telephone system has OBD.

When performing fault-finding, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in "Guided Fault Finding" function.

• Familiarity with the function and operation of the telephone system is essential when addressing customer complaints.

• Additional information, refer to the Owner's Manual,.

• Check all vehicle equipment (clock, Convenience System, etc.) after connecting the battery.

Cell Phone Operating Electronics Control Module (J412) , Adapting Components

- Select "Guided Fault Finding" in Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

- Press "GO TO".

- Select "Functions/Component selection".
