Water Drain Hoses, Cleaning

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Cleaning and pulling tool (VAS 6620)

Front Water Drain Hoses

• The illustration shows the right side. The left side is identical.






The front water drain hoses - 1 - run along the inner A-pillar run from the assembly unit - 3 - up to the crossmember end plate.

Hose bracket - 2 -, quantity: 4 on each side.

- Insert the front water drain hose - 1 - up to the marking - arrow a -.

- Marking - arrow b - for positioning the front water drain hose on the hose bracket.

- They are cleaned from the sunroof opening.

Rear Water Drain Hoses

• The illustration shows the right side. The left side is identical.






The rear water drain hoses - 1 - run along the rear side panel on the inside from the assembly unit - 3 - to the wheel housing.

Hose bracket - 2 -, quantity: 5 on each side.

- Insert the rear water drain hose - 1 - up to the marking - arrow a -.

- Marking - arrow a - for positioning the rear water drain hose on the hose bracket.

- Clean from the wheel housing. It is necessary to remove the wheel housing liner in order to do this. Refer to => [ Rear Wheel Housing Liner ] Rear Wheel Housing Liner.

• It is recommended to use cleaning and insertion aid (VAS 6620).
