The following describes removing and installing the left front door only. Removing and installing the right front door is identical.

Removing






Perform the following:

- Press on the catch - arrow a - and remove the boot - 8 - from the A-pillar.

- Swing locking lever - 10 - downward - arrow b - and disconnect the connector - 9 - from connector station.

- Remove the caps - 5 - from the bolts - 3 -.

- Loosen the bolts - 3 - on the hinges - 4 -.

- Remove the bolt - 7 - from the door strap - 6 -.

- Slide the door strap - 6 - toward the inside.

- Lift the front door - 1 - with the hinges - 2 - upward - arrow d - out of the hinges - 4 -.

Installation






Perform the following:

Install in reverse order of removal. When doing so, note the following:

The door strap bracket must be folded in toward the inside of the vehicle (to prevent damaging the paint) before installing the front door.

Tightening specification - 3 -: 30 Nm

Tightening specification - 7 -: 23 Nm

The hinge arms must be flush with each other after installing the front door.

- Adjust the front door - 1 -. Refer to => [ Door, Adjusting ] Door, Adjusting.

- Pay attention the gap dimensions for the front door - 1 -.
