Lock Carrier Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (3409)

Removing

- Fold up the luggage compartment carpet and support it.

- Remove the rear lock carrier cover- 2 - from the roof tailgate seal.

- Loosen the upper clips - 1 - using trim removal wedge (3409).

- Pull the rear lock carrier cover - 2 - upward in - direction of arrow -. Pull the lower guides - 3 - out of the metal tabs - 4 - at the same time.

- Remove the rear lock carrier cover - 2 - from the lock carrier.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.

• Make sure the rear lock carrier cover fits inside the rear lid seal molding after it is installed.
