A-Pillar Trim

• Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Remove the instrument panel cover on each side. Refer to => [ Instrument Panel ] Instrument Panel.

- Remove the A-pillar center trim. Refer to => [ A-Pillar Gap Cover ] A-Pillar Gap Cover.

- Remove the Airbag - 1 - emblem.

- Remove the bolt - 2 - (4.5 Nm).

- Loosen the A-pillar upper trim - 4 - from the door seal.

- Pull the A-pillar upper trim - 4 - out of the retainers near the clamps - 3 -.

- Remove the A-pillar upper trim - 4 - from the front mount on the instrument panel.






Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.

• The airbag emblem - 1 - must be replaced.

• Make sure the A-pillar upper trim - 4 - is installed correctly into the door seal.
