B-Pillar Trim

• Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

Removing

- Remove the airbag emblem - 2 - and the screw - 1 - (4.5 Nm).

- Loosen the B-pillar upper trim - 3 - from the door seal.

- Remove the clip - 4 - on the B-pillar upper trim - 3 - from the mounts in - direction of arrow - using trim removal wedge (3409).

- Remove the B-pillar upper trim - 3 - from the upper mounts on the body.






- Remove the bolt - 1 - (40 Nm).

- Guide the belt end fitting with the seat belt - 2 - through the opening in the trim.






Installation

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.

• When installed, the seat belt height adjuster and button in the trim must be in the same position.

• The airbag emblem - 2 - must be replaced.

• Make sure the B-pillar upper trim - 3 - is installed correctly into the door seal.

- Install in reverse order of removal.
